Avery Tiernan (they/them, nonbinary bi disaster) (also known as Aveline Reynard) is a writer and editor living in Canada with their lovely wife, Meredith Katz, and their beloved cats ❤

Avery manages the Soft Cryptid website, social media, and promotion. They are also the primary editor on Meredith’s recent and forthcoming novels and novellas, and run many a TTRPG game in their spare time.

Avery writes 2SLGBTQIA+ speculative fiction, and enjoys romance with strong fantastical elements, and imaginative fantasies with compelling romance. They were previously published by Less Than Three Press with a novella called Heart And Parcel. This anthology is now out of print, but they hope to re-write and re-release it in the very near future.
